Vice President Alan Richardson, CCHP is moderating a panel at the upcoming Spring Conference on Correctional Health Care put on by the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) April 29-May 2 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Titled, “Come Together Right Now: Custody and Healthcare Services,” the panel is a roundtable discussion to address the conflicts that often arise between security officers and healthcare staff. It will explore how staff with two different missions and purposes can work together.

The conference will provide comprehensive coverage of all aspects of correctional health care: chronic care, mental health, suicide prevention, oral health, crisis intervention, liability and more. Attendees will network with peers and experts from every segment of the correctional health care field, including clinicians, administrators, staff, and management. The NCCHC is the nation’s leader in correctional health care education and the only organization dedicated solely to improving health care in the nation’s jails, prisons, and juvenile facilities.
